Game of Thrones finale a.k.a. What am I going to do for the next 9 months?
Okay, everyone on my F-List is talking about it.
I have a chat on WhatsApp that haven't stop receiving messages since this morning.
My Facebook feed is a long scream. Same for Twitter and Instagram (no food porn today... Just Jon Snow).
I'm not even going to mention tumblr... I've sent my day commenting and fangirling over the finale of Game of Thrones and I have nothing more to say but I'll make a post anyway because why the hell not?
So, if like me, you didn't have enough of it today, here's my opinion on the finale!

Dany, Tyrion and the gang: I love their friendship. I've loved it since the beginning, damn it, I've loved it even if when they were separated by the Narrow Sea, just LOVE IT as I love the one between Jaime and Brianne. Their scene in the Throne Room, after she got rid of Daario (thank goodness, I can't stand the guy... always there, never leaving her side, he didn't even gave Jorah some privacy to confess his feelings for his queen... Bye Daario. I'm not going to miss you*) when she make him the hand of the Queen I was kicking and screaming. The whole speech was priceless
T: "He wasn't the first to love you and he won't be the last." *cough cough* Jon Snow *cough cough*
D: "Well, you have completely failed to console me."
T: "For what it's worth, I've been a cynic for as long as I can remember. Everyone's always asking me to believe in things-- family, gods, kings, myself. It was often tempting until I saw where belief got people. So I said no, thank you to belief. And yet here I am. I believe in you. It's embarrassing, really. I'd swear you my sword, but I don't actually own a sword.. "

God, that was GOOD!
Things that made me laugh: in the past seasons it took her a lifetime to move from a city to another, but now she crossed the sea in 12 seconds...
Things I didn't like: Not a single Dothraki was throwing up on the side of the ship. Very disappointing. The fact that the bitches of Dorne joined the crew... I really don't like them... The only good thing in that family was Oberyn (I'm still so damn sad about it).

Arya: Oh My God Arya, could you be more awesome? No you can't. It's okay, that's plenty awesome! I'm so proud of you, little girl! Now, my question is... Is she going to go south to cross more names from her list (Cersei and the Mountain)? Or is she going to go North to be reunited with her favorite brother and Sansa, maybe meeting the Hound and the Red Woman on her way? I hope she'll go North and I hope she'll make it... (Above all I hope she'll get reunited with Nymeria so, when she get home Ghost can play with his sister) But of course she's going to make it... SHE'S AWESOME! The fact that Jaime was there when she was there too (I'm assuming they were there at the same time, or maybe she just missed him for a fraction of a second) was even more awesome!
Things that I loved: The fact she made Fray eat his sons and her smile while she slit his throat!

The Mad Queen and the Flying King: Okay, Tommen had the potential to be a god king, I mean, the dude was kind and had a very good heart, it would have been a good King under the right council, but it was too easy to manipulate and from the moment he decided to be on the High Sparrow's side he was dead to me! His death was kind of poetic though. He tried so hard, he kept hoping, but the World was just too cruel! I'm sorry little dude! But I'm not sorry for the big explosion because thanks to it we got rid of that a$$ h0le of the High Sparrow. After Bolton he was the character I hated the most! I bowed to Cersei when she got her revenge on the Shame Nun! That felt so good! I'm sorry for Margaery and Loras, especially Loras because he confessed and he got a mark on his forehead and then he died... What an awful day! Anyway everyone in Kings Landing is doomed now that Dany is coming, so I'm glad things went this way. I'm glad because I physically need Jaime to break up with his sister and get out of there before is too late. I would love for him to stick around and get reunited with his brother (also Bronn and Tyrion together again? Is this a dream?) but I won't cry if he goes north and joins Brienne and the North people... Even if I don't think the Starks will be very welcoming... I fear for Jaime because he has nowhere to go. By staying by his sisters' side he got himself a crazy amount of enemies. I'm scared for him! I think he'll end up being the one who kills Cersei and then he takes his life.
Things that should have shocked me but they didn't: The fact that Cersei hired KIDS to kill people (probably because they didn't want to go to mass on a Sunday since they have to go to School until Saturday... Kids need to sleep xD) and her reaction to Tommen's death.

The White Wolf and The Bad Ass Ginger: Oh Jon. You better get used to be called King because apparently, my friend, you are the true king! They made fun of you, they called you Bastard, Catelyn was a b!tch around him, but wait for Bran to show up (don't die now Bran) and tell everyone you're the product of the LOVE (not rape... LOVE!!!) between Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen!!! BOOM! Everyone in the Seven Kingdoms just dropped their jaw! But I'm not worried about you... I'm worried about Sansa... Is she interested in Little Finger? I thought I saw some sort of a doubt in her eyes... Tell me it was me!
Things that made me laugh: The little exchange between Jon and Sansa about the fact that Winter is here... Why did they laugh? Are they happy they're going to die? These two need to rest because they're loosing it
Things that made me cheer: LADY EFFING LYANNA BAD ASS MORMONT! She's my queen!
Thing I obsess about when it comes to this family: WHERE IS GHOST? IS HE ALRIGHT?

The Others: Sam had his Beauty and the Beast Moment and thanks to him I've met my new favorite character. I feel a connection with this guy! I can't help it!
Bran was left miles away from the Wall by his uncle... Rude... But now we know why the White Walkers and their army can't cross. I was wondering about that! They need to bring down the wall... I wonder how they'll do it... I can't wait to see the, in the credits, the Wall in ruins! Talking about the credits... The Stark symbol is back and I am so happy!

* I think my problems with Daario are connected to The Age of Adaline because HOW CAN YOU CHOOSE HIM WHEN YOU CAN HAVE HARRISON FORD DAMN IT?

So that's it! Hope you enjoyed the show. Its 6th season has been AWESOME and now we have to wait 9 months for more! That sucks!
What you want to see next season? What do you expect? Do you want Jon and Dany to fall in love and rule the World together? Where is Ghost?

LOL the record keeper guy was hilarious in a very subtle way. He was just SO DONE with all of it. But I feel him, I mean, if he has to update the records anytime someone noble dies, he has been very busy for the past few years! And now he can't even count on the Night's Watch to update their info? *heavy sigh* indeed! haha.

(I don't know what is up, but the guy who plays Daario must have a pimp for an agent because he has sex with the leading lady of everything I've seen him in!!! GoT, Orphan Black, Wild...okay so I've only seen him in 3 things, but still. wtf!)

I felt awful for Tommen because he was trying so hard to do the "right" thing. He knows his family has made bad choices, that his mother is pretty much evil. When he saw the burning and the screaming, he knew it was her fault and he knew that there was no way he could stay honest and make it better. His death is on her. She knows it too, she knows that her actions destroyed him.

Dany and Tyrion. Such a great scene. I think he is appreciating working with someone who isn't using him, someone that actually respects him for who he is and not his connections. I can't wait to see what lies in store for them next weekend.

Not thrilled about the Dorn people being involved in anything as I trust absolutely none of them.

He will be thrilled after what Cersei put off xD

LOL I dislike him in OB as well... I honestly think is Harrison Ford's fault xD

His death is on her. She knows it too, she knows that her actions destroyed him.
I hope Jaime will see it that way too! I need Jaime safe! GET OUT OF THERE!!!

It has been a fantastic season, I agree! I am still crying in the corner over Margaery, though. My only consolation is that she died STILL the smartest person in the room.

I expect the White Walkers v Dragons next season. It's going to finally be about Ice and Fire! If Jon and Dany meet and fall in love I will probably vomit. He can do better, sorry not sorry. :P

Ghost is getting some mad belly rubs!

I would have liked to know if she had a plan to get rid of the High Sparrow... She died just because they needed to put Cersei on the throne now that Dany is coming, so I understand it... Still I'm going to miss Natalie's face :( So the only comfort I find in this situation is:
1. She knew it was a trap and she wanted to get out of there
2. She managed to say fuck this shit to the High Sparrow (and he's the one who died in the center of the explosion without in the exact moment he realized he makes a mistake)
3. She had a plan
4. She had a deal with the High Sparrow
So she was indeed the smartest person in the room. I won't miss anyone else that was in that room that day.

I expect the White Walkers v Dragons next season.
I cannot wait for that, but I think next season (at least half of it) will be about Dany getting the throne and the battle between the Lannister and anyone else (I'd like to say Cersei vs the World because I want Jaime on Tyrion side or at least out of there... Tyrion is the only one who can save Jaime now) and theNorth get his shit together while the White Walkers try to figure out how to bring down the wall, and Arya going around crossing names and get reunited with her family. And then in the last season The Dragons VS The White Walkers.

If Jon and Dany meet and fall in love I will probably vomit.
LOL. Don't be sorry... If we all had the same ships it would be boring :)

Ghost is getting some mad belly rubs!
He better be the last one standing at the end of everything...

Do you want Jon and Dany to fall in love and rule the World together?

YES. A BAJILLION TIMES YES. <3

Part 1
The fact that the bitches of Dorne joined the crew... I really don't like them... The only good thing in that family was Oberyn (I'm still so damn sad about it).

I'm just so angry that the show did Dorne dirty. Seriously, they are so much better in the books and it just makes me so mad that they basically butchered everything that was awesome about the Dorne storyline. :( But I do like that Daenerys is now gathering so many alliances now and she is finally making her way to Westeros. Just seeing these characters, who have never had any interact before now, share scenes together is just so cool to me.

Now, my question is... Is she going to go south to cross more names from her list (Cersei and the Mountain)? Or is she going to go North to be reunited with her favorite brother and Sansa, maybe meeting the Hound and the Red Woman on her way?

I'm assuming that she'll go North since she said that she's going home. But I have a feeling she needs to cross the names off her list first before doing anything else. Either way, I just want all the Stark children to be reunited in some form or another. They've been separated for too long, and while we lost Rickon (RIP), the four that are left have important roles to play and it would be horrible for them to never see their remaining family together again in one place, back in Winterfell.

As for Jaime, I predict that he'll be the one to kill Cersei. Remember, he killed King Aerys Targaryen to prevent him from using Wildfire and killing everyone in King's Landing, and the fact that Cersei did exactly that, I think it would be appropriate for him to be the one to confront her and then give her that poetic justice. Not only are all their kids dead, but she has gone mad from her paranoia and getting that power hungry and revenge. In the books Jaime is already very indifferent towards her, and I'm sad that they didn't do that in the show, but after this I definitely think he'll not be happy with her and needing to make that decision (which in her mind they are inseparable, and it would be the ultimate heartache that her brother doesn't love her anymore).

Either way, I certainly want him to get back to Brienne. Hell, even Bronn ships them together. ;)

I'm worried about Sansa... Is she interested in Little Finger? I thought I saw some sort of a doubt in her eyes... Tell me it was me!

Nah, she knows that he's untrustworthy. She said so herself. She is just playing the game, and I have a feeling she will be the one to kill Littlefinger in due time. Especially once she finds out what he did to Ned Stark and everything else he has orchestrated since the beginning. That would also be poetic justice, particularly if, when killing him, she says something along the lines of, "this is for my father, and this is for my mother....who you will never see in the afterlife." Giving the final "fuck you" to him. That is my wish, anyway.

WHERE IS GHOST? IS HE ALRIGHT?

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! I was hoping that, in the previous episode, it would be Ghost who would be killing/eating Ramsay's face (though him getting eaten by his own dogs was more fitting anyway). After so many Direwolves meeting their demise, I honestly want Ghost to be okay...

Part 2
What you want to see next season? What do you expect? Do you want Jon and Dany to fall in love and rule the World together? Where is Ghost?

I want them to follow this particular trend of women taking control of situations and being in positions of power. No more unnecessary rape scenes (which I'm thankful wasn't in this season at all), no more exploitation of women, none of that. I want more things moving the plot along. As for what I'm expecting, I'm expecting something epic. It's gonna be so hype, I can already tell just from the last shot of the finale with all the ships from different Houses and alliances joining with Daenerys as she sails to Westeros...I mean seriously, I want that to pay off just as good as I hope it does.

I want Jon and Dany to meet, for sure, but I also want more Jon and Sansa scenes because their moments this season were absolute perfection. Their chemistry was beautiful and it made me so happy that everything about them wasn't just for the reunion, but for furthering their character developments and the plot. More of that, please. Also more Stark reunions in general. Arya arriving in Winterfell, seeing Jon and Sansa and hugging them both. I need more of those moments.

As I mentioned in my own review, I have a complicated relationship with this show. Just when I thought I had quit, they somehow pulled me back in.

Re: Part 2

Seeing Cersei on the throne gave me chills, thinking about what she'g going to do with all that power... But I wanted Dany to be the first Queen of Westeros :( We now have 3 women in power now (I think Jon and Sansa will rule together... For a second I expected him to proclaim Sansa "his Queen", as in we're siblings, we rule together, and I like to think he was about to say something but then he stopped because he didn't want to be awkward. I can totally picture the scene: "And Sansa will be our Queen" *silence* *Lady Mormon rolls her eyes thinking* "WTF Jon, I warm up your crowd and you do this? Should I take over now?"

I want Jon and Dany to meet, for sure, but I also want more Jon and Sansa scenes because their moments this season were absolute perfection.
I agree... Jon has a long way to go still... Especially compared to the women in his life (and the one who still have to come). Arya is the character who is at the highest point of her evolution, I think (is that even a thing? I don't even know if a sentence like this makes sense in Italian) Sansa it's so done with this shit and now she seems to know what to do, or at least she knows her actions will always have consequences and she's at peace with that. I think she'll come out as the winner against Little Finger too. She'll get what she wants/needs from him and she'll be his undone! Funny though: Sansa is still married to Tyrion, right? I hope she'll have time to see he's a good person when him and Dany arrive. I don't want them to stay married, but I want her to know he's good! (Since she married Ramsey I guess the first marriage was annulled, but still, it will be fun to see them reunited too)
OMG I can't wait for Arya and Jon to get together again... They were so cute... It would be interesting to see how will he react to her being such a badass little girl now... And it would be interesting seeing Sansa and Arya interact too... They weren't that close when they were younger and there might be some resentment in there... I mean, Sansa could blame to have left her alone in KL, and Arya could blame her for all that happened... But this stuff will wash away... Or maybe they already forgave each other or there was never anything to be mad about... But you know how humans brain works sometimes...

As I mentioned in my own review, I have a complicated relationship with this show. Just when I thought I had quit, they somehow pulled me back in.
I'm glad you're back :) Can I ask you why do you have a complicated relationship with the show? Is it because of the way the show "ruined" some of the things you loved about the books? Or is something different?

Re: Part 2
Seeing Cersei on the throne gave me chills, thinking about what she'g going to do with all that power...

It is honestly chilling. She now has what she's always wanted, the throne, the crown, the power, with added on madness to everything considering what she did with the wildfire (something that the Mad King, Aerys Targaryen, wanted to do before Jaime killed him to prevent that from happening). She will now possibly be even considered the Mad Queen, possibly scarier because everyone knows what she can do. And the very notion of the kind of power she holds is terrifying, to say the least.

Funny though: Sansa is still married to Tyrion, right? I hope she'll have time to see he's a good person when him and Dany arrive. I don't want them to stay married, but I want her to know he's good!

I have no idea how that is going to be dealt with, since it's true that she is still technically married to him even when she was married off to Ramsay. I don't even think that'll hold up anymore, to be honest. Regardless though, even during their time together I don't think Sansa thought that Tyrion was bad. He was still a Lannister, but not as bad as the rest of the Lannisters, if that makes any sense. But it would be interesting to see her reaction to seeing him, and vice versa.

(In fact, I'm fascinated what others who have known Sansa would think of her should they come across her now. Like the Hound, for example. Or imagine what Cersei would think of her. Sansa isn't the same as she once was.)

Sansa could blame to have left her alone in KL, and Arya could blame her for all that happened... But this stuff will wash away... Or maybe they already forgave each other or there was never anything to be mad about...

I don't think they would blame each other for anything that had happened. I think they know instinctively that there was nothing either of them could have been done during that time, and that there would be nothing to forgive. Shit happened to both of them that was beyond their control. I think if/when they ever see each other again they'll just be happy to be reunited as a family and that they're all safe.

Can I ask you why do you have a complicated relationship with the show? Is it because of the way the show "ruined" some of the things you loved about the books? Or is something different?

It's a combination of a lot of things, really. Even though I still think the first season is possibly the best season of the entire show, the show itself is essentially a watered down version of the books. I understand that it is an adaptation from a very large, complex series that has so many plots and arcs and characters that they would need to cut things out, and adaptations do take their own direction especially if it's on television, but in my opinion the show could be a lot better than what it turned out to be. They messed a lot with characterizations, they killed off characters that are still alive in the books (and play pivotal roles in the main plot), they erased and ignored other major players, they also erased a lot of the mythology/fantasy aspects of the series (the visions and prophecies which drive a lot of the characters; the House of the Undying was something I was looking forward to seeing in the second season but it wasn't even remotely the same as in the books where there was a lot of foreshadowing of future events), they added unnecessary rape scenes and sexual violence against women and so much exploitation of women and never the men, and hearing about some of the BTS stuff makes me rather nauseous/angry (how the whole Jaime/Cersei sex scene was handled and viewed differently, how they fired an actress because she wanted to do something other than be naked/have brothel scenes, etc.)

It's just a lot of different factors, honestly. As I said, it's complicated. I do appreciate the show for introducing me to the series in the first place and it can do a good job when it wants to, but overall I feel like it could've been much, much better.

Is it 2017 yet? I can't wait to see what's going to happen!!!

I don't think Sansa thought that Tyrion was bad. He was still a Lannister, but not as bad as the rest of the Lannisters, if that makes any sense.
She didn't trust him (understandable) and she was kind of scared of him and I remember him trying to convince her he would have never hurt her or touch her or anything... She didn't have time to start believing him... But even Jon and any other Stark didn't believe him just because his last name. It's like Jaime... most of the people when they look at him see the king' slayer. They don't see the good he did by killing the mad king.. How many life he saved... And I think people know he did them a great service, but the fact he's a Lannister makes them look at him with doubt at least!!!

How the whole Jaime/Cersei sex scene was handled and viewed differently, how they fired an actress because she wanted to do something other than be naked/have brothel scenes, etc.
I remember a lot of people complaining about it! That was a big deal! I'm very interested in reading the books... Speed up George xD

Just seeing these characters, who have never had any interact before now, share scenes together is just so cool to me.
I honestly don't know why I don't like them... Maybe because I love Bronn and Jaime so much and they were their enemies... If I look at them thinking they did what they did because of Cersei I'm okay with them... I think is just the Jaime factor for me! :D I started the books but then I thought "I already have to wait months for the show... so, do I really want to start a series of books that is not finished yet?" So (and I know it doesn't make much sense) I'll read them when the show is over and Dear George is done :D

I just want all the Stark children to be reunited in some form or another.
I want it so badly too... And I'm scared Arya is not going to make it up there. I mean, I don't think she's going to get herself killed, but I'm scared she'll miss them again somehow... I'm pretty sure Bran will find his way home, at least to let Jon know about his mother. I wish Bran saw also Ned telling Jon that he wanted to talk to him about his mother so that he knows for certain he HAS to tell his brother/cousin.

I was hoping that, in the previous episode, it would be Ghost who would be killing/eating Ramsay's face
That would have been awesome... Less "poetic" but AWESOME!

After so many Direwolves meeting their demise, I honestly want Ghost to be okay...
I think Jon left him at Castle Black thinking it would have been safer for him to stay there... He was going south for a battle and Ghost would have stayed by his side and risk to get killed... But, at the feast, they called him "the White Wolf" Was that because Snow is white or did they see Ghost somewhere? Maybe Jon locked him in a tower like a princess to keep him safe!

Arya needs to find Nymeria now that she has her sword! She HAS to! Can you imagine them, finally reunited... So Ghost can have a pal to play with up in the tower! Or since George loves incest the two Wolves can have puppies!!! :D

Re: Part 1
OMG I LOVE that this comment has a part 1 and a part 2!

lol, well I tried to get this all in one comment but I exceeded the maximum amounts of characters, so. ;)

I started the books but then I thought "I already have to wait months for the show... so, do I really want to start a series of books that is not finished yet?"

That's understandable. I've always found it rather odd that George would agree for a show to be adapted from his series without it being finished yet, considering that they would obviously catch up to where the books left off and go forward and spoil things for the future books (no matter how differently they approached things or went in another direction). Especially when you take into account how slow GRRM takes to publish any of the ASOIAF books, it's a conundrum some fans had. I, for one, didn't know about the books until I saw the first season and decided to read them, but I understood the reservations people had from either side.

Still, even though I know that we shouldn't forcibly rush him or whatever, I do know that there have been authors who died without finishing their ongoing series and they still remain on a cliffhanger indefinitely. So GRRM should stop fucking around and teasing us with excerpt chapters and publish the last two books already.

And I'm scared Arya is not going to make it up there. I mean, I don't think she's going to get herself killed, but I'm scared she'll miss them again somehow...

I think many are scared about that. I mean, most never dreamed that we would even have a Stark reunion at all, but then Jon and Sansa reunited and it was glorious. But I think that, since we're reaching the climax of the story, we're going to be getting more reunions and characters meeting up with each other. It's been far too long, and even if this is a series about bad things happening always, there is a theme and pattern about the oppressed rising up and taking control and the Starks have been separated far too long. It is their time to rise up and unite as a family. That is my belief, anyway.

I think Jon left him at Castle Black thinking it would have been safer for him to stay there... He was going south for a battle and Ghost would have stayed by his side and risk to get killed...

I hope so.

Arya needs to find Nymeria now that she has her sword! She HAS to! Can you imagine them, finally reunited...

I'm just really sad that the show never alluded to Arya being a warg as well (all the Starks have warg abilities to some degree, not just Bran). In the books, she has dreams about being a direwolf/Nymeria which she doesn't know that she's actually warging, though it makes it clear that Nymeria is still alive and well. But her reuniting with Nymeria during her travels as she is possibly returning home or getting revenge on those on her list would be fantastic. Imagine how big she has gotten since we last saw her!

I think George can't die... The fans put a spell on him... He'll stay alive as long as he writes xD I'm sure of it LOL. People would find a real life version of Melisandre to bring him back!

I'm just really sad that the show never alluded to Arya being a warg as well
I would love to see that! There's still time maybe to insert it into the show...
